Alta Cienega Motel is located at the intersection of La Cienega Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd in the city of West Hollywood, California. From our motel, our guests can conveniently walk to many tourist attractions, such as Beverly Shopping Center, bars and restaurants on the Sunset strip, Universal Studio, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the world famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre. We are also just a short ride away from the beautiful Santa Monica beach and Downtown Los Angeles.

Alta Cienega Motel has a long and vivid history. World famous legendary rock singer Jim Morrison lived at our motel in room 32 from 1968 ~ 1970. The room is still decorated with Jim's portrait and personal belongings till this day (See rates for room 32).
